Description | Useful where paragraphs wrapping to the next line would not be desired, like for blocks of code. The overflow 'X' box could then be shown for any line that runs off the right edge of the frame. I think this would be a paragraph-level setting, so it could be used in a text style. | ||||

Sounds reasonable enough. Do we need this for all combinations of left/right/center/block alignment or just for left aligned text? I'm not sure about the x-markers though. |

Good question, I had only thought of left. I guess block wouldn't make sense with this since it depends on wrapping at the frame edge. Center would be weird, although I see no fundamental reason to exclude it. Left and right should be supported anyway since some languages are right-to-left. |
