Summary | 0005940: Add systemwide busy cursor while waiting for Scribus to finish the work
Description | It would be very handy having clock cursor (or however that looks on other OSs then Linux) shown when Scribus is busy. Right now one have to wait without obvious reason when some operation is taking place. To be more exact: after operation took place. For me (2000+ Athlon, 1GB ram), this time is usually second or two for simple moving of text frame, but can be much more for other complicated operation. I've used to this workaround scenario: Do the intervention on document and rush to menu bar to see if menu icon gets highlighted (which doesn't happens if Scribus is still working).
Additional Information | Inkscape developers have introduced this feature recently. It's really handy, must add again!

Examples from other programs: Gimp 2.9 creates a circular progress bar for an operation (example: https://youtu.be/OQ8kllyGf1A?t=4m12s) QtCreator has a status box with a progress bar that shows up in the bottom right corner |
