Summary | 0006404: Bitmaps embedded in eps-files are displaced when imported
Description | When importing an eps into Scribus that has embedded bitmaps, the bitmaps are moved to another location. The movement is equal for all bitmaps.
Steps To Reproduce | The eps-files I used were produced by matplotlib using the imshow command to display an 2d array as a grayscale bitmap. (I believe these are embedded as TIFF's.) Immediately after importing these EPS-files, the bitmaps are all located somewhere else than there intended location. The shift is equal for all bitmaps and equal on repeated tries. It happens with all the graphs I produced this way, not just the one in the screenshot attached.
Additional Information | Importing the eps file in OpenOffice does not have this effect. Printing this to a PDF with PDFcreator or the cups pdf printer results in a perfect PDF. Converting the PDF back to EPS and then importing that EPS yields the same displacement in Scribus. The EPS files look as expected in Ghostview as well.
