The file was uploaded. Export takes 11 minutes (Processor Sempron 2800+). Thanks.

PS: I think that it is one of the downside of Latex equations. It must export each equation and then whole pdf...
PS2: Scribus as compared with OpenOffice has very slow and ungainly equations. I am not sure that creating of pdfs is the best solution in this but then addition of equations (graphs,..) is enormous advancement of new version of Scribus. :-)

Podofo enabled builds have an experimental feature which allows to directly embed intermediate pdf content in pdf output file. Exporting the attached sample file is then just a matter of seconds.

Using Latex for typesetting equations was choosen because it produces better quality than any other system.
Export is slow because the pdf gets rasterized first. You probably have set a high resoultion for rasterizing. As jghali told you with the new pdf emdedding support this should get much faster and the equations are also kept as vector data.

I don't think rasterization speed can be improved much as this is done by ghostscript.

Resolving as no change required as this is not an issue with podofo enabled builds + we can't do much if podofo is not enabled.
