Summary0009738: Feature Request - ability to create editable/saveable forms.
DescriptionI need to create pdf forms - which Scribus does beautifully, but need the ability to be able to save, and then continue editing/adding data at later date. Adobe InDesign does it, but want to keep using Scribus on my Ubuntu platform.
Steps To ReproduceCreate text form, export, open pdf document, enter data, and try to save, and then reopen with data you entered.

if you tell us how to do it, i guess that the team will be very pleased to implement it!

it does not need any programming skills for now, just some research: documentation, specification, ...

but, afaik, adobe does not want third party application (most of all free ones) to be able to store data in a pdf form. but i welcome you to prove me wrong!

This feature is sadly "Adobe only" as it requires certain settings in the PDF that are not public. Adobe saves these PDF's with a special key which enables the "Save" feature, but the key is a secret of Adobe.
