Summary0010235: In Single Page mode you should Center the page in the Viewport (Ctrl+0)
DescriptionWhen you start a new document the page is uncomfortably on the extreme left of the screen, when it should be centered.

I hate to say it, but see Microsoft Publisher, for how it should be done. Heck, even see Open {ahem, I mean Libre} Office, a single page is centered on screen.
Steps To Reproduce1. Create a new document, in Single Page mode
2. Press Ctrl+0
3. Notice the page is on extreme left, which is uncomfortable, also at this Zoom level, I can't even scroll left to manually center it (which would only be a workaround, not a solution, it should be & stay centered automatically).
Additional InformationI understand in Double-Sided mode that 2 pages are displayed Left & Right...which might be fine, but I can't understand why Single Page mode isn't centered.

Ctrl+0 & really all of the "view changing things" should auto-center the page on screen...it should actually be difficult to make the page be off-center. "Fit Width" seems to do a pretty good job of keeping the page centered.

But even View 100%, 75% etc...they should all re-center the page at the new Zoom level.

Ctrl+0 (Cmd+0 on OSX) is bound to View > Zoom > Fit to Height

well, ctrl-0 could "reset" the view...

anyway, what we need is a way to place the page where we want on the screen. even when it much smaller than the scratchspace.

no idea why the pages are always on the left.

I think it should reset the view as well.. that makes sense as 0 is zero aka 'start'

I too hate this "all to the left" behaviour of Scribus. The only way to avoid this is to add scratch space to the left but this introduces other problems.

It's been eight years. Is there any hope that `position: left` will be changed to `position:center` somewhere in the code anytime this decade?
