Summary0010972: impossible to embed some of the Microsoft fonts
DescriptionIt's impossible to embed Calibri, Cambria and Constantia fonts. As a consequence, user can't select/copy text written by these fonts. It's not probably the font problem because InDesign works as expected.

I tested it. Unchecking in preferences > fonts is not a solution. It works in other fonts but not in MS fonts. Everything seems to be ok when Scribus exports the PDF (Save as PDF dialog). But when I check this PDF in Adobe Reader or other PDF readers, font is not embedded and I can't select/copy text.

I test it with DejaVu, Constantia and Calibri. DejaVu is embeded as expected, Constantia and Calibri not. All fonts have unchecked font subsetting.

Sorry, but that does not change in any way way the fact that this issue is a duplicate. There are already opened issues about what you mentions. Check for example 0005806 and 0009478.

Cambria and Constantia falls in a specific case : they miss the 'post' table which is required to ensure compatibility with older postscript devices. That triggers us to use a technique which provided better compatibility with such device and also with older PDF rips. The double-byte encoding used by Indesign may trigger errors on such device.
