Summary | 0015330: Proportional filling of images in frames |
---|
Description | XPress and InDesign provide a useful and time-saving feature called "proportional filling" for the content of image frames. It only fills the empty space (horizontally and/or vertically) proportionally, without attempting to keep the whole image visible. This feature is ingrained in many workflows to speed them up, including keyboard shortcuts. |

Additional Information | See: https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/frames-objects.html: "Fill Frame Proportionally Resizes content to fill the entire frame while preserving the content’s proportions. The frame’s dimensions are not changed. If the content and the frame have different proportions, some of the content will be cropped by the bounding box of the frame." |
