Summary0003584: Insert page always creates right page margins first page specified as right page)
DescriptionNew pages inserted after master pages have been defined do not have margins and guides correctly located. Margins and guides are those for a right page (first page of document specified as right page.)
Steps To Reproduce1) Create a new document.
2) Specify first page as a right page.
3) Specify inside margin = A. Specify outside margin = B.
4) Edit Master Pages. Create left and right master pages with page numbers, margins and guides so that left and right master pages are mirrored versions of one another.
5) Save document.
6) Close Master Page edit.
7) Insert 1 new page at end, making sure left and right master pages are correctly specified in insert page dialog.

The new page has page number objects correctly located, however guides and margins are not correct for the new page. The guides and margins are those for a right page (same as first page.)

Just re-checked. Actually it is only the margins that are incorrect. The guides from the appropriate (left/right) master page are correctly placed on inserted pages.

Exploring this problem further, I saved a three page document with the described problem (margins wrong for inserted left pages.) If I reopen this document, margins are still wrong. If I then delete the last page, margins of all remaining pages are "magically" correct.

At this point, I can insert a new page specifying "after page N", select correct left/right master pages. And inserted page has correct margins.

I'm inclined to set the severity back to major since working with master pages with double sided documents is almost impossible at the moment. Any thoughts?
