Summary0004830: Problem with vertical text alignment when using first letter capitalized in coloumn layout
DescriptionIn a frame with coloumns, applying a style with the first letter capitalized, current row is shifted down just a few points. This does not apply to the other coloumns, as a consequence the rows of the coloumns are not synchronized anymore.

I believe that the problem is with the capitalized letter, which is shifted up. Maybe there could be a control to set the size/position of this first letter...

I don't know if it is understandable, so I link a screenshot, hoping it to be useful.
http://www.notte.altervista.org/upload/atheneum/Scribus1336.png

The red line is the actual top of the row, the green one is the first paragraph's.
Steps To ReproduceCreate a new text frame, whith coloumns.
Insert some text
Create a style whith a big first letter (I tried 2 or 3 rows)
Apply and look at synchronization of the rows.
Additional InformationI do not know if this is actually a bug or my blindness which does not let me see a quick solution.

Can you attach your screenshot to this bug? the altervista link expired.

If the problem is what I think it is, we know about it. Will be fixed in 1.3.5 or 1.3.6.

Attached!

It wasn't expired... it is a stupid problem with altervista and png: if you cut and paste the link, it's operative, but clicking on the link does not work... :|

Hope the problem is what you think, so it should be fixed in one of the next versions!

You are doing a really good job guys!
