Summary | 0008201: Deadlock trying to create a PDF radiobutton group
Description | When trying to create a pdf radiobutton group, by adding two checkboxes and giving them the same name a deadlock occurs and the following popup is shown: "Name isn't unique. Please choose another." Unfortunately it is not possible to break out this dialogbox to change the values. If you do not open the properties window it is possible to export the document as PDF but the checkboxes do not have the expected behaviour. The both switch on or off is either is selected. This has to do with not being able to set the exportvalue of each checkbox. In Acrobat Professional this would be the way to create a radiobutton. Issues 0000866 and 0007322 are related to this issue with regard to the exportvalue.
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Add two checkbox pdf fields. 2. Select each checkbox and use the contextmenu "pdf options > field properties" to give them both the same name. 3. Select one of the checkboxes and display the properties (F2). 4. Close the properties dialog. 5. Deadlock. Use taskmanager to kill proces.
