Summary | 0002412: Not possible to make PDF annotations in a Template /Master Page
Description | Tried with both scribus 1.2.2.1 and 1.3.0 It is possible to use the "Link" menu item to insert a text frame into a template, but it is not recognized as a PDF annontation (at least as judged by right-click and then looking at PDF options). Similarly, it is not possible to cut and paste a PDF annontation from a page to a template/master page.

|
Page Templates are static backgrounds to a page. Nothing really can be edited from the main page, once a template is applied to a page. Workaround is to use the scrapbook, which I do extensively for PDF forms and fields. |

new docs which explain page templates in detail are on the way also. |
